On behalf of an internal client, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Team Lead – DPH (Detergents, Pharmaceuticals, and Household) to manage and drive performance within the assigned territory. This role focuses on field execution, ensuring product availability, compliance with in-store standards, and successful promotional activations.

Position Summary
The Sales Team Lead – DPH is responsible for leading sell-out performance across assigned outlets, managing Trade Marketers, ensuring compliance with pricing, stock rotation (FIFO), and promotional execution. The role will work closely with the Category Manager – DPH to implement commercial strategies, monitor retail compliance, and escalate any execution issues.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
a) Territory Sell-Out Execution
- Drive and deliver sell-out targets for the DPH category within the assigned territory.
- Conduct daily/weekly outlet visits to assess stock availability, pricing accuracy, promotional compliance, and adherence to FIFO.
- Trigger timely reorders to avoid stock-outs and report availability issues to the Category Manager.
b) In-Store Execution & Compliance
- Ensure that DPH products are shelved, priced, and displayed per agreed planograms.
- Enforce FIFO compliance and document deviations from agreed shelf standards.
- Submit weekly compliance reports supported by photographic evidence of in-store conditions.
c) Trade Marketer Management
- Plan and manage Trade Marketer deployment across outlets.
- Ensure all Trade Marketers are fully trained and certified on active DPH SKUs.
- Conduct regular briefings on promotional mechanics and execution expectations.
d) Customer & Issue Management
- Resolve day-to-day execution challenges at the outlet level.
- Immediately escalate any commercial disputes, stock discrepancies, or customer complaints to the Category Manager.
e) Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare and submit weekly reports on sell-out performance, field execution, promotional activations, and stock-out prevention.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG sales, pharmaceuticals, or household goods field sales.
- Experience managing or supervising field teams or Trade Marketers is required.
- Exposure to modern trade and general trade retail execution environments.
- Experience in regulated or semi-regulated product categories is an added advantage.
