Mini Group is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Human Resources Officer to manage HR operations and ensure effective execution of HR processes and policies across the organisation.
Eleven Degrees Consulting Limited is a shared-service firm under the Mini Group of Companies, offering specialized recruitment and HR solutions to organizations across various industries.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Head – Human Resources, the Human Resources Officer will oversee HR operations including HRIS management, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and HR reporting.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
a) Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
Maintain accurate HR records and employee data (physical and electronic) and support HR reporting and compliance.
b) Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Support recruitment processes, documentation, candidate communication, and onboarding procedures as per policy.
c) Employee Relations & Compliance
Handle employee concerns, support disciplinary processes, promote employee engagement, and ensure compliance with HR policies and Kenyan labour laws.
d) Performance Management
Support implementation and follow-up of performance reviews, appraisal tools, PDPs, and records management.
e) Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support
Support payroll inputs, compensation administration, benefits follow-up, and resolution of payroll-related queries.
f) Training & Development
Coordinate training programs, maintain training records, and support employee development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
CHRP certification or Higher National Diploma in Human Resources (Mandatory); IHRM membership (Mandatory); Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Social Sciences (added advantage); at least 3 years’ HR experience in a labour-intensive/unionisable environment; minimum 2 years’ hands-on HRMIS experience (Mandatory); strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws.
