A Trade Company under Mini Group is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to lead full accounting operations, strengthen financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver accurate reporting and commercial insights that support business decision-making.

Eleven Degrees Consulting Limited is a shared-service firm under the Mini Group of Companies, offering specialized recruitment and HR solutions to organizations across various industries.

Position Summary

Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Accountant will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, cash flow and working capital management, and serve as a financial business partner to the GM and department heads. The role will also supervise the Accountant and Accounts Assistant to ensure high-quality finance service delivery.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

a) Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; manage tax filings/statutory returns and audit requirements; coordinate external auditors and tax authorities; implement and maintain internal control frameworks suitable for distribution operations.

b) Budgeting & Financial Planning
Coordinate the annual budgeting process across departments; monitor budget performance and conduct variance analysis; monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure adequate liquidity.

c) Financial Analysis & Business Partnership
Provide financial insights to the GM and department heads; monitor DSO and escalate credit risk in partnership with the Commercial Manager; proactively flag inventory write-off risk.

d) Team Leadership
Supervise the Accountant and Accounts Assistant; coach, develop, and build capability within the finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; minimum 7 years’ experience in finance or auditing; CPA(K) plus one additional certification (e.g., Diploma in Management/IT); ICPAK membership in good standing and meets ICPAK training requirements.
